bah! being sick means having to deal with the lactose intolerance! every cup of coffee sends me running to the toilet in no time. yes, i blame the lab sessions. smelly gloves. smellier bacteria on agar plates. though i secretly love lab sessions and look forward to them! haha..cos it's terribly interesting. learning why you need things like IPTG on the agar plate, why you get blue colonies, having to analyse silly gel photos! the more random the fact, the more it interests me! and it's nice my TA stretches us by making us think hard about why we do certain things.
hmm..yesterday i went for band!! yay!! i love it at band, though i was breathless most of the time. i think i sounded pretty nice yesterday! haha..was very happy with the nice full tone, even on the (normally) screechy high notes. and we're gonna have saints hallelujah (a saints alumni concert) next yr!! i might not be able to play if i go away on exchange. i was so sad when i realised that. hmph!!
right now, i can't wait for the 6th aug!! anyone wants to come watch me at the esplanade? (:
